How I like to charge
By the hour – I charge an hourly rate of £30, track my time, round up or down to the nearest 15 minutes and send you a time report with your invoice so you can see a full breakdown. I’m very quick and I can probably get much more done in an hour than you can!
By the project – because it’s often easier to set a fixed price for a particular task or project, we decide whether to go with an hourly rate or a set price when discussing the brief together.
Event rates are agreed upon after assessing the scope of the work, whether I’m needed on site, if there’s pre and post-event admin work, if it’s an ongoing or one-off event and other factors such as your budget etc.
Retainer – depending on the task, it can often be simpler to just pay for a set amount of hours a month. I keep track of my time and let you know if you’re nearing your limit so you don’t have to worry about spiralling costs.
How I like to work
I work completely virtually so apart from the occasional event, I prefer to take on projects and individual tasks rather than repetitive ongoing work that has to be done at specific times of the day/day of the week.
Who I like to work with
I like to work with organised professionals who are good at what they do, know what they want and understand the value of selective outsourcing. I don’t organise my clients – they know what they need doing and they set me a task with an outline, an objective and a deadline instead.
