Business Consultant and Futurist – blog and newsletter formatting/editing/SEO and scheduling using WordPress and MailChimp (Brighton)

The Yehudi Menuhin Young Violinists International Competition Trust – this is a UK-based charity who manage the biennial competition and related activities and events. I was asked to be the administrator for the 2014 competition in Austin and to act as competitor liaison both before and during the event. (UK and America)

Freelance Marketer & Social Media Consultant – analysing LinkedIn groups and personal accounts. Social media audits including sourcing, collating and analysing company account use, as well as data mining and online research and collation. (Glos)

Business Consultant – setting up a number of autoresponders in MailChimp for her WordPress website. (Brighton)

Events Bar Company – I’m their administrator and ‘logistics gal’ for events throughout the year including the award-winning Green Man Festival in Wales each August. Tasks are varied but include ordering products, coordinating suppliers, paying invoices, creating complex Excel spreadsheets and docs, stock and finance reconciliation, staff management and logistical coordination whilst on site. (Wales & London)

The CEO of several large institutions – I have power of attorney over his UK company and sole access to many of his bank accounts. I sourced a new Sussex property for him, liaised with both sets of agents, oversaw the house move and transferred his utilities. I basically do whatever needs doing to make his life run more smoothly. (United States)

Internet Entrepreneur – looking after her flat when she’s abroad. Watering plants, turning on heating, and opening post. I then scan and email her anything she needs to action or be aware of. (Brighton)

Global Social Media Consultant – online client and competitor research then collating information into PowerPoint templates or spreadsheets, writing proposals, occasional transcription, as well as personal work that includes sourcing and coordinating suppliers for parties and researching international travel itineraries. (London)

Library Software Company – chasing late payers, updating their brochure templates, setting up LinkedIn groups and organising international travel and accommodation for business trips. (Brighton)

Event Management Consultant  sourcing new venues and calling her short-listed venues to ascertain their suitability for her clients’ events, then reporting the results via spreadsheets. The Consultant’s clients were high-profile companies requiring prestigious or unusual venues for their AGMs. (Brighton)

Marketing Consultant – reporting on website SEO statistics, doing online research, data mining, reporting on the Google ranking of her clients’ websites after she had improved their SEO and assisting with group social media training sessions. (Sussex)

Baking Teacher – setting up a new Gmail account including adding Labs and organising contacts and groups, writing and sending follow-up emails, creating online shareable class timetables, redesigning her blog, adding social media sharing and follow widgets and writing and editing her website copy.  (London)

Kanban and Agile Learning Trainer – Internet research, data mining, event coordination, designing and supporting his Twitter strategy, creating a website newsletter signup form, as well as SEOing and adding follow and share Social Media functions to his web pages and blog posts. (London)

PR Consultant – editing and sending out press releases to national newspaper and magazine writers, maintaining the journalist database and producing a monthly reach report for her clients. (Sussex)

Playwright – scanning and uploading press clippings and advertising materials to his WordPress website. This is so visitors can see what plays he’s written, when and where they opened, who performed in them and then click through to online and scanned reviews. I also assist him with quarterly book-keeping and other admin tasks. (Brighton)

Branding Consultant – typing up notes from focus groups and collating the results into PowerPoint presentations for her international corporate clients. (Brighton)

MD of a Global Training Provider – coordinating monthly and quarterly telephone meetings with six MDs from giant global corporations. This was a particularly challenging task as their diaries were a nightmare! (London)

Fitness Training Company – researching international travel and accommodation arrangements, looking after bookings when the owner was abroad, updating their database and making sure new attendees received newsletters using MadMimi. (Brighton)

Child Forensic Psychologist – office reorganisation, email and diary management and setting up devices so she could synchronise information between her PC, tablet and mobile phone. (Brighton)

Website Design Company – proofreading, editing and writing copy for websites and proposals. Also testing websites and presenting a report on their usability. (Brighton & Thailand)

Publisher – checking links in old editions were still valid, designing surveys on Survey Gizmo, sourcing then adding networking and training events to her clients’ websites and collating monthly feedback reports from her clients’ employees. (Brighton)

Writer – online research and setting up a Mailchimp newsletter for her blog. (Brighton)

Estate Agency – proofreading and editing their marketing letters, setting up their Twitter profile and both researching and writing blog posts. (Sussex)

Marketing Consultant – assisting with the delivery and maintenance of affiliate programmes. I assisted with the initial mailout, follow-up mailouts and answered queries from the UK and international affiliates. (Sussex)

Chief Executive of a large non-profit organisation – setting up meetings, coordinating his diary and managing his emails. (Sussex)

SEO Consultant – setting up new systems, procedures and templates to streamline his admin and implementing Gmail as his email client. This included importing old emails and contacts, setting up contact groups, adding filters and labels and training him on how to use the platform efficiently. (Sussex)

Photographer – setting up and organising a new Gmail account (plus adding related plugins, importing old emails and contacts etc) collating her expenses, writing blog posts on her photography shoots and SEOing the photos for Google images. (London)

NLP Practitioner – using Constant Contact CRM to schedule newsletters, collating contacts, researching international travel arrangements and creating and maintaining various spreadsheets and databases. (Brighton)

There are also numerous clients who’ve hired me to train them on a a range of social media platforms, SEO their blog posts, set them up with Google products (Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Chrome etc) then train them on their use, collate Excel data and undertake Internet research and data mining.
