Recording business expenses – using a personal bank account for business

Like myself, if you’re using the same bank account for personal and business, you’ll need a quick and easy way of recording your business expenses for your tax return.

In this short video you can see that copying and pasting your statement into a simple Excel sheet, and using highlighter colours, you can effortlessly keep on top of your yearly income and business expenses with little or no fuss.

I also have another spreadsheet which shows you how to record and break down your various expense categories.

* You can download both templates from the Free Stuff section of this website
