My name is Joanne Munro and I’m a Virtual Assistant who provides admin and social media support to small businesses, freelancers, and consultants.
Based in Brighton and Hove, I spent over 20 years in the hospitality and events industry before I went freelance in 2009 – the opportunity to bring organisation, bullet points, and nice stationery into people’s lives was far too much for me to resist!

- I’m trustworthy - I have access to client’s bank accounts, client base, and emails. I am even the executor of one of my International client’s businesses and represent his UK interests
Under the bonnet
- I live in Hove with my boyfriend and scourge of the local bird population cat, Dillinger
- Cripplingly organised, I cannot leave anything for 10 minutes without tidying it away – this is my cross to bear
- I love crème eggs, autumn, Tudor history and disaster films. I have an irrational hatred of daffodils and the use of bracket-face emoticons
- I am unswayed in my belief that life would be perfect if I only had a puppy

- I write the advice section for the Brighton & Hove Jobs website and am their recommended CV writer
- I’m the Admin Officer for the Bars department at the annual 15,000 person Green Man Festival in Wales. This involves working 14+ hours a day on the mother of all Excel spreadsheets!
